On January 19, 2022, the Trans-European Division held a COVID Symposium on Vaccines, Freedom, and Loving Our Neighbor. The speakers are, Dr. Ganoune Diop, Attorney Jennifer Woods, Dr. Peter Landless, and Dr. Carlos Casiano. 30-minute presentations from each speaker and 80 minute Q&A session.

For Religious Liberty Sabbath, January 15, 2022, Dr. Ganoune Diop, director of Public Affairs and Religious Liberty for the Seventh-day Adventist world church, and the Secretary General IRLA intends to highlight a holistic understanding of religious freedom. Today and increasingly, this fundamental freedom is misunderstood, distorted, and instrumentalized to political ends. The sermon’s endeavor is that of restoration of the true nature and scope of religious freedom. While mentioning international and national provisions for religious freedom, the best we offer is our theological insights. Therefore, the spiritual emphasis in the sermon.
